2 August 2014 Sat : A meeting was set up to meet Mdm. Melissa Saw by OC Poh Ling accompanied by PP Katherine, Secretary Lynda & ex-Lion Michelle Khoo held at a Dim Sum restaurant at PJ Old Town aiming at getting more facts before the Club decide to aid her financially. Mdm. Melissa a single parent was working as a secretary, unfortunately she is currently jobless. Her gambler husband left her to fend for herself and her 3 daughters and only son age ranging from 11 to 17 years. Currently her younger sister is assisting her for her monthly necessities. Her main concerned being her children tuition fees for both her eldest daughters. After much deliberation, members unanimously agreed to subsidize RM300 monthly for their tuition fees from August to December 2014 to be given monthly. Total donation for this project = RM1,500.
